A little less screen time, a little more LIFE. 📸
One thing I want to be more intentional about as a parent is creating opportunities for my kids to EXPERIENCE life, not just watch it happen.
This summer, we got our kids Camp Snap cameras, and they have been SO much fun!
They’re screenless digital cameras that let kids capture the world around them without getting sucked into another screen. And honestly, some of the pictures they’ve taken are my absolute favorites!
I love seeing the things THEY notice, the moments THEY think are worth capturing, and the world through THEIR perspectives.
It got me thinking…
Our kids are only little for such a short season. Before we know it, they’ll have their own schedules, their own friends, their own adventures, and a lot less time to spend with us.
I don’t want to look back and realize we spent all that time just getting through the days.
I want to create memories. I want to laugh, play, explore, and find little ways to connect with my kids in the middle of our busy lives.
And I think sometimes it starts with something as simple as a camera.
With the holidays coming up, I thought I’d share because these would make such a fun gift!
If you’re looking for ways to encourage a little less screen time and a little more creativity, exploration, and connection, this is one I’d definitely recommend.
I’ll share some of the pictures our kids have taken so you can see them for yourself!
