September 17

Service project at the ballpark.
Work for not even two hours. :P
Bought food for Bryce and his siblings.
Went to the old house and new house to help with further moving details.
Helped a little bit with moving.
Took a long nap. :P
Ate dinner.
Listened to the football game.
Cleaned the dentist office.
Caught up on the football game.
Passed out.

And that was my day. Hooray!

More importantly is, of course, the adventure.
I listened to another song by Nicole Sheahan, while I was driving back from the east side.
It's called Get Back Up Again, and the first verse and chorus read:

You were just trying something new
Daring for the dreams important to you
Taking a risk on what you always wanted to do
Then someone said something and your hopes are crushed
They told you you'll never be good enough
But you will prove them wrong

Because you'll get back up again
And you'll try
You know God's never never gonna leave your side
And you'll get back up again
Even if you don't know what
You know He's never never gonna leave your side
Get back up again

It encompassed just about everything I've been thinking about lately, with my own life and that of family and friends... Many of us may just be working and/or in school, and not much changes to the point where we have to decide if we will take risks and go out on a limb to make a dream happen. Many of us go through similar, if not the same routine, just about everyday. UNLESS, WE make something happen.
No matter what we are doing or want to do or are trying to make happen, if we desire it and work hard to achieve it, even if in the middle of it all, we change our goal or decide it's not the desired goal anymore and try a new one... no matter what strides we try to take, as they are good, He will always be there, and He will be a proud parent of the progress made, of the strength gained, of the heart changed.
Do we strive to make things happen in our daily lives? Are we content with the normal, the average? Or do we light the fire and make today a day to remember...
What's your adventure?
